Blogmas - 10 Things To Do Before 2018!





Hello Everyone! With only 15 days left,
here are 10 THINGS WE CAN ALL TRY DOING BEFORE 2018!


1) Read a book
Now, this sounds pretty simple but for me, I rarely find the time to sit down and curl up with a good book. Recently, I've finally found some time, I have been reading a wartime novel, "Where My Heart Used To Beat" by Sebastian Faulks. I'm trying to finish it before the end of the year. 

2) Host a dinner party
I think hosting a dinner party is such a nice thing to do. You can invite all your friends, family and it gives you the opportunity to cook a special meal for them and remind them of how they are important to you. It is also a way of saying "Thank You".

3) Try a new workout
Whether it is yoga, pilates, zumba or cardio, just try something new and exciting. Something you've never done before. Also maybe becoming more health conscious and learning about how to keep your body fit and healthy.

4) Clean your closet and donate
A thorough clean helps to clear your mind of things that need to be done around the house and makes it easier to focus on other more important things. Try concentrating on one room at a time to make sure you get the job done properly. I like to donate to charity as it changes the lives of people in need. Even the smallest donations make a difference. 

5) Go on a road trip
Going on a road trip is fun! It encourages you to be spontaneous, gives you an opportunity to bond with people be it friends or family and loads more. It also creates memories that will last a lifetime.

6) Have a bit of a "Me" time
  Self-care is an essential for happiness.  If we feel healthy, happy, and energized – we are generally in a much better position to love, support and nurture others. Just take some time to pamper yourself, maybe do a face mask, hair mask and listen to some relaxing music. 

  7) Go to the cinema
 Just go and enjoy yourself, watch the latest movie and relax. The presence of other people adds to the experience so maybe bring along your friends or family. 

  8) Be GRATEFUL
  There are numerous reasons to be grateful. Life isn't fair sometimes but that does not stop you from being thankful for what you have. Being grateful should be part of your "everyday thoughts". Spread love and positivity 💗

  9) Reflect on your year
 Reflecting is important. Maybe this year was amazing or maybe it didn't go too well. Regardless, reflecting can be helpful. Deep dive into 2017 month by month. Learn from your mistakes, know what not to repeat next year. Avoid being harsh on yourself.

 10) Set your goals
Plan for next year. Goals are what take us forward in life; they are the oxygen to our dreams. Goals are simply tools to focus your energy in positive directions, these can be changed as your priorities change, new ones added, and others dropped.
