Balm Balm Organic Rose Floral Water Hydrosol

Balm Balm offers four different scented hydrosols: Rose, Frankincense, Chamomile and Neroli.
They are available in 100ml and 30ml (travel friendly) spray bottles.

These floral water hydrosols are made from flower distillate. A hydrosol is the aromatic water that remains after steam-distilling or hydro-distilling botanical material such as flower petals or leafs. It contains the water-soluble aromatic and therapeutic properties of the plant.

Most (not all!) floral waters sold on the market are actually just water and aroma or essential oils. I personally hate the strong smell of essential oils hence why I never use them especially not on my face!

Out of the four scented hydrosols, I chose to try out the Rose Floral Water.

Balm Balm Rose Floral Water Hydrosol

The Rose Floral Water Hydrosol is made from distilled Damascus rose petals and has a fresh and invigorating scent.  It is soothing, balancing, cooling and has a calming effect on my skin. I've got super sensitive skin and this product did not irritate it at all!

I mostly use this product as a refreshing and hydrating toner before applying my moisturiser. It can also be used as an all over freshener or 'pick me up'.

According to Balm Balm, the floral scent (rose) is supposed to "help you to love yourself" and "dispel anger".

I love this product and I've never used anything like it!

🌟 This Rose Floral Water Spray is 100% Natural. Mist over clean skin as part of your daily skincare routine. This organic hydrosol is extremely delicate and should be kept in a cool place out of direct sunlight to ensure it stays in best condition.

I will be writing a post on "Easy DIY Dupes" for this product soon. It is pretty simple to make your own homemade version and it has almost the same benefits!
