Seaglass By Eloise Williams

Hey loves!

Here is a review of Seaglass by one of my favourite authors, Eloise Williams!
I was beyond excited when I got to know that Seaglass was coming out as I had really enjoyed the author's previous book Gaslight

Summary:

Lark struggles when her family and their friends go on holiday in a lonely caravan site on the Welsh coast for the Autumn halfterm. Her mother is ill, her little sister has stopped speaking and she has fallen out with her best friend. Is a girl in a green dress following her in the fog? Or is her sister playing tricks on her? When a local woman tells her ‘the girl’ comes to take sisters, Lark finds herself the only one who can save her family.

My Thoughts:

First of all, the cover is STUNNING!

I love the way the author depicts a typical teenager who is confused, sometimes awkward and is still learning to control her complex emotions. I can totally relate to Lark hence why she's my favourite character.

The author does an amazing job at vividly describing the Welsh Coastline.

I actually stayed up all night to read this book as I was so hooked and could not put it down. I had to "bribe" my sisters so that they wouldn't tell my parents. 😍

Eloise Williams is definitely extraordinarily talented.

This story is chilling, captivating and at times eerie. It's fantastically creepy and had me totally gripped!

Rating: 5 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
