Blogmas - 4 Effective Uses of Baking Soda

Hello Everyone!
First of all, Merry Christmas! I cannot believe how fast the year has gone by. I've almost completed the list of  10 Things To Do Before 2018!

Baking Soda is a good exfoliating agent that helps remove dead cells. It also helps in balancing the pH levels of the skin and absorbing excess oil which is very important to maintain an even and clear complexion.

Here are 4 effective uses of baking soda for "glowy" skin:

1) Face Wash
All you need is:
1 tbsp Baking Soda
2 tbs Water

๐ŸŒŸ Mix and apply onto face. Gently massage for 2-3 minutes before rinsing.

2) Acne Treatment
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp distilled water

1 tbsp baking soda
3 tbsp organic honey
1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder

๐ŸŒŸ Apply on the affected area for about 5-10 minutes before rinsing.

3) Face Scrub
All you need is:
1 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp grind oats
2-3 tbsp red tea (Rooibos)

๐ŸŒŸ Rooibos helps with skin irritation and keeps the skin free of common conditions like acne, redness, sunburn and eczema. Mix to make a smooth paste. Gently massage onto the face  for 3-4 minutes before rinsing. You can also leave it on as a face mask for about 5-10 minutes.

4) Skin Brightening Treatment
1 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp mint (leaves or paste)
1 tbsp yogurt (Greek)
Optional: Fresh lemon juice

๐ŸŒŸ Mix and gently massage for 5-10 minutes. The mixture can also be used as a face mask. This treatment helps with any kind of hyper-pigmentation, acne scars and also gets rid of a tan faster.
