NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte and Liquid Suede Lip Creams

Hey loves!

I'm back with a new post today. I know yesterday's post was really short but as I said I'm just trying to sort things out at the moment. Today, I wanted to review the NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip creams and Liquid Suede Lipstick.

NYX Soft Matte Lipcreams

I love NYX Soft Matte Lipcreams. For me personally, I feel like they're the best matte and non-drying lipstick. I normally go for glosses or semi-glosses instead of full on matte lipstick just because I hate the feeling and have to check myself in the mirror every few hours just in case of peeling, cracking or bleeding of the lipstick . Although my lips are always exfoliated and moisturised (I apply a thick layer of lip balm before bed and use a gentle lip scrub everyday), matte lipsticks never seem to work with my lips.

Recently, I have found some matte lipsticks which apply smoothly, do not dry out my lips and are very longlasting. These include ones from NYX, Maybelline, Tanya Burr Cosmetics and a few more (forgot the names but will be doing a separate post for them).

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams come in a plastic tube packaging. You get 8ml of product. The doe foot applicator is soft and a bit fluffy. The product applies evenly on the lips. They've got a whipped mousse like texture, a subtle vanilla scent and are very pigmented. I own 4 shades, Stockholm, Prague, Cannes and Sao Paulo. I'm also a really big fan of the NYX Butter Gloss.

They retail for about £6 (it sometimes depends on the shade).

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick

Shade: Tea & Cookies (pinky nude)

NYX’s Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks feature a waterproof liquid lipstick formula that sets to an on-trend matte finish. They’re available in 24 shades ranging from nudes, browns, reds, oranges, blues, purples, and even greys and black.

This lipstick applies like a dream! The formula is somewhat thin and runny, which makes them easy to apply. This lipstick applies evenly, does not dry out my lips and is very pigmented. The only downside to this product is that it exaggerates lip lines.

Although I love both ranges (NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream and Liquid Suede), I prefer the soft matte lip cream.

NYX is a very budget-friendly brand and I really recommend their products. I'm planning on buying more shades of the soft matte lip creams as they are quickly turning into my holy-grail.

Hope you enjoyed reading.

Love,
