🌟 When I started reading The Silent Patient, about 10 pages in, I knew that this book would get its 5 STAR rating from me. It's just one of those books where you immediately feel it's going to be AMAZING!
I read (rather devoured) The Silent Patient in a day. It had me totally gripped from the start. The Silent Patient is written from Theo's point of view and entries of Alicia's journal.
This psychological thriller contains many twists, turns, revelations and will keep you wanting more! The Silent Patient is a slow-burning type of book and a great page turner. It is a very unique story.
About 200 pages in, I was a bit concerned as nothing thrilling had happened yet. I felt like there were a lot of unimportant bits in the story but I continued reading as the book was very hard to put down and...... from there onwards... I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I then understood the previous additional bits and bobs to the story. I felt like I had to go back and read those parts again!
When I flipped the last page of The Silent Patient, I was dumbfounded. I was completely lost for words (I still am!)
The Silent Patient is definitely BRILLIANT and one of the BEST psychological thrillers I've ever read! (Maybe my 2018 fave read???)
